Day 1 Welcome by Travri tour t representative at the Colombo Airport & proceed to first destination Negombo

Dutch canal -:

The purpose of the original waterways was to transport the export produce to seafaring ships leaving from the port of Negombo, then a busy seaport and there is evidence that countries such as China, Burma, Rome and Greece traded with the rulers of Lanka at that time.

Agurukaramulla temple -:

The Angurukaramulla Temple is a very cool place to visit if you’re in Negombo. It’s best known for its epic statue of the Buddha, and its dragon-entrance – inside you find detailed murals that date back centuries.

Day 2 Leave from Negombo hotel & proceed to Mirissa

    Madu River-:

    Madu Ganga Wet Land spreads across 915 hectares, out of which 770 hectares is covered with water. Sail downstream for about a kilometer, the river opens its doors to 36 spectacular islands covering the rest 145 hectares. 

    Turtle Hatchery -: 

    According to scientific research, it is estimated that there are eight species of sea turtles in the world. Five of these species are in the habit of frequenting the beach stretches of the South Coast of Sri Lanka. .

    Galle fort-:

    A recent visit to the Galle Fort World Heritage Site, the writer came face to face with evidence of ‘disintegration’ of this historical location. The Galle Dutch Fort is a rare historical jewel protected by dark, thick stone walls – with the endless ocean on one side. visitor to a delightful walk into the 17th century.

    Stick fisherman’s village -:

    Stilt fishing is a tradition on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The fishermen sit on a cross bar called a petta that tied to a vertical pole driven into the coral reef. The men fish with either rods or just string. The catch is either a variety of spotted herring or small mackerel. [ Optional ]

Day 3 Proceed to Green hills of Haputale

After enjoying the breakfast,leaving from Mirissa to Green hiils area of Hapitale you can visit the sightseeing & attractions while on your way as below . 

Udawalawe National Park-:[ Breakfast at 07.00 – 09.00am ] 

Udawalawa is undoubtedly the best place in Sri Lanka to see wild Asian Elephants throughout the year: there are about 500 elephants in the park and they often roam in herds of up to 100. 

Elephant transit home-: 

Best way to visit the Elephant Transit Home (ETH) is to combine it with a visit to Udawalawe National Park. This provides the opportunity to see the orphans being fed, and also to see wild elephants in a stunning setting. In fact, you may even see some animals that were rescued by the ETH now roaming in the park

After enjoying the breakfast, you can visit the Haputale sightseeing & attractions mentioned as below.

Lipton's Seat -:[ Breakfast at 07.00 – 09.00am ] 

Lipton’s Seat, is a viewpoint on the Poonagala Mountain on Dambethanne Tea Estate.  The view from here is considered only rival to Worlds End view at Horton Plains. This view point is located at a perilous location at the top of Poonagala Mountain at a height of over 1950 meters with a sheer drop over one side and a 360-degree view.

Dambatenne Tea Factory-:

Well known tea manufacturers  cultivate their plantations around Haputale. "Dambatenne" is one of the tea processing centers . Sir Thomas J. Lipton was living on this estate and the factory still maintains most of the machinery already in use one century ago. 

Upper Diyaluma Falls bathing  point -:

At 171m, Diyaluma Ella Falls is the third highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. To get to the fall there are three routes, but the most popular is the "Upper Diyaluma" trail. The trail is quite easy since the ascent isn’t too steep, making it a family-friendly activity to partake in 

Adisham Monastery -: 

Adisham is the kind of place seekers of peace dream about. Now a religious house where tranquility lies like a blessing and the grandeur of sweeping mountain vistas takes your breath away, Adisham was originally the country seat of Sir Thomas Villiers.The spirit of Thomas Lister Villiers strongly pervades this stately house. Villiers came to Ceylon in 1887 with 10 sterling pounds in his pocket. He was born in 1869 in Adisham Rectory in Kent, the son of Rev Henry Montague Villiers. He was a grandson of Lord John Russell, twice prime minister of Britain.

While walking, picnics, cycling, and horse riding are popular among many, Boat Rides in Nuwara Eliya is the sensation among the crowd without a doubt. Gregory’s lake-:

Gregory’s lake is a recreational area in Nuwara Eliya. Visitors enjoy the relaxing atmosphere around the lake

Ramboda Falls-: 

The Ramboda Falls is a huge waterfall in the highlands of one of many waterfalls in Nuwaraeliya in Sri Lanka. Located 3,200 feet above sea level, Ramboda is one of the bigger waterfalls in the country.

Visit the Temple of the tooth-: [ Breakfast at 07.00 – 09.00am ] 

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex which houses the Relic of the tooth of Buddha. 

Royal Botanical Garden-:

Peradeniya  Royal Botanical Garden was made as a Royal Garden by King Kirti Sri Rajasinghe  in 1747 to 1780 and cover about 150 acres of Trees. the most attraction is  Orchid house it has more than 300 varieties of Orchids.

Kandy Market & Shopping -: 

Move through the hustle and bustle of vendors setting up shop followed by inquisitive locals who engage in the art of bargaining their way through at the Market in Kandy Sri Lanka.

Stalls of fresh fruit, vegetables and local spices would be hard to miss out on while the market would be a suitable place to pick and choose from an array of handicrafts, batiks, handlooms and jewelry. Finely crafted brassware, silverware and woodwork are amongst the souvenirs made available here. Even cushion covers featuring traditional Kandyan work or colored devil masks can be purchased at an affordable rate.

Day 8 Kithulgala water sport

After enjoying the breakfast,proceed to Kithugala for water sport & get back Kandy hotel late eveninig.

White water rafting-: [ Breakfast at 07.00 – 09.00am ] 

Experience White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River, covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years with safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing will be given by our white water rafting instructors beforehand. 

Kayaking -:

If the kids aren’t jumping up at the idea of rafting through white water rapids, a kayaking excursion will be the next best alternative. Cruise along the more gentle parts of the Kelani river and enjoy the endemic flora and fauna that thrives along the river.

Abseiling -:

One of the most thrilling activities is abseiling, an exhilarating way to ascend/descend from a waterfall.

Abseiling is a fun activity where you can scale up/down a waterfall before diving into the cool water below. You’ll be strapped with the necessary equipment and harness from the adventure centre, to ensure safety. Regardless of age, the entire family can do this memorable experience.

canyon -:

Sliding down an inclined 5 meters waterfall will give you pleasure while jumping into the pools of Kataran-Oya ( River )will question your self-confidence as well as how much you trust yourself. There are 4 jumps and 3 sliding in Kataran-Oya. After doing those unforgettable activities you can refresh yourselves by having a cold bath in those pools

Muthumari Amman Hiindu Temple-:

The temple is famous among both Hindu and Buddhist people in the area. The Hindu goddess of rain and fertility, Muthumari Amman is venerated here by Hindus while Buddhists venerate this temple as a place dedicated to goddess Pattini, the patron deity of fertility and health.

Spice & Herbal Garden-: 

There was domestic medical treatment in Sri Lanka Before 1802AC .Majority in Sri Lanka used to those for any disease.  can see all those easily from there . the plants such as Cinnamon, Cardamom , Pepper Cloves, Coffee etc.

Dambulla cave temple -:  

Dambulla cave temples which date back to the 1st century. This is an amazing complex of 05 caves, containing over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is a colossal figure spanning 15 meters. Cave inscriptions from the 2nd Century BC .

Minnariya National Park-:

It is the largest known meeting place of Asian Elephants in the world. During this period herds up to 300 elephants are seen at the 8,890 hectare park within a few square kilometers of the Minneriya.

Marble beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Trincomalee area. The water is crystal blue and there are hardly any waves making it an excellent bathing spot. you can enjoy a bath without the fear of drowning, and you can go a fair distance towards the sea because of shallow waters.

Pigeon Island National Park-:

Pigeon Island National Park consists of two small islands off the east coast north of Trincomalee and is an ideal location for scuba diving and snorkeling…….

Koneswaram Kovil-:

Koneswaram Kovil, located on the highest point of Trincomalee at Swami Rock, is often said to be the most important Hindu temple in Sri Lanka . Many tourists are interested in visiting this place as it creates beautiful patterns every evening

Hot water springs Kanniya -:

the small village of Kanniya, Trincomalee there are 7 hot springs. The springs are enclosed with walls converting them into wells. The compound with the springs is also enclosed within the walls.

It's consist cart journey  approx 1 KM in the village & canoe in the lake as next step. then get across from lake to the small cultivated village & one of women showing Srilanken cooking & This is a place of enjoy local lunch.

Sigiriya Rock fortress-:

Sigiriya is the central point of Srilanka’s cultural triangle. we head to Sigiriya to climb the 5th century Sigiriya Rock fortress which is a UNESCO world heritage site and a remarkable archeological site made unforgettable by its dramatic setting. [ Optional ]
