TOUR MEMBERSHIP
When you pay in full and avail services for a transfer, excursion, or package tour, you automatically become a member, entitled to the benefits of that particular product or service. As some of our active and adventure programs may be physically demanding, it is essential that you maintain reasonable fitness levels. Consequently, certain tours may not be suitable for children and the elderly. Activities such as canoeing and rafting may necessitate swimming skills, and such prerequisites will be clearly indicated for each tour. While we strive to accommodate those with physical limitations, we reserve the right to decline service or terminate the participation of any tour participant whose health, mental condition, or physical capabilities disrupt the tour’s operation.
Our Tour Manager/Leader/Interpreter may, at their discretion, request your withdrawal from any tour or activity if they deem your behavior offensive or disruptive to fellow participants, disrespectful to local customs, damaging to the environment, or in violation of local laws. In such cases, Travri.com holds no liability towards the tour participant required to withdraw. Additionally, you may be held accountable for any deliberate damage caused.
PRICES, RATES & FARES
Unless specified otherwise, all prices displayed are in United States Dollars and are quoted on a per-person basis. Accommodation rates are based on twin or double sharing, with a supplement applicable for single rooms. Villa prices denote the entire villa rental, unless stated otherwise.
The displayed prices are calculated using current exchange rates at the time of reservation. However, Travri.com reserves the right to adjust tour prices to accommodate changes in tariffs, taxes, park fees, and fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. Prices listed on the website are subject to change at any time prior to departure.
Please note that Travri.com cannot be held responsible for discrepancies arising from variations in exchange rates or transaction fees imposed by financial institutions or changes in reservation dates. Refunds for price fluctuations are not feasible as our charges are based on the exchange rate prevailing on the payment date.
Any fees, interest, or bank charges incurred in arranging tele-transfers, wire transfers, bank drafts, or other money transfer methods through financial institutions are the responsibility of the customer.
RESERVATI RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENTS
To secure your booking and ensure availability, we highly recommend making early reservations. Upon acceptance of our itinerary and quotation, we will tentatively reserve and confirm all hotels and services, typically valid for 48 hours during low season and 24 hours during peak season in Sri Lanka. Low season generally spans from May to July, September, and October, while peak season encompasses November to April, as well as August. We may apply peak season terms during low season if a significant event occurs.
Upon acceptance of our tentative reservation and quotation, a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required in advance to confirm the booking and reconfirm all arrangements. Failure to submit the deposit to our offices within 48 hours during low season or 24 hours during peak season may result in cancellation of the booking. If a supplier imposes stricter payment terms, we will promptly notify you along with the individual cancellation policy.
Following receipt of the deposit by Travri.com, any changes to the reservation will incur a processing fee of $30 per change (please refer to our general cancellation policy as well).
Final payment, constituting 100% of the total cost per person, must be settled no later than eight weeks prior to your arrival at the destination. For reservations made within the final six weeks before arrival (provided space is available), the entire tour price must be paid at the time of booking.
Travri.com accepts credit or debit cards for deposits, while balance payments are requested to be paid directly to Travri.com.
PROVISION OF SERVICES
All products and services offered on this website are subject to availability and acceptance at the discretion of the respective supplier. Should a product or service you have booked become unavailable, Travri.com will make reasonable efforts to propose an alternative of similar pricing and quality.
If a hotel of similar pricing and quality as mentioned in the quote is unavailable, and only a lower category of hotel is accessible, we will notify you accordingly, passing on any benefits if applicable.
Conversely, if only a higher category or more expensive hotel is available, we will inform you accordingly and any supplement required will be charged to you.
Should the product or service become unavailable, or if our suggested alternative is not acceptable to you but has been fully paid for, we will initiate a refund in accordance with our refund policy.
Failure to accept our suggested alternative by the specified deadline gives us the right to cancel our tentative booking.
While we endeavor to ensure your rooms are available upon check-in, standard hotel occupancy times apply (Check-in time: 2:00 p.m., Check-out time: 12:00 noon). Early check-in and late check-out options are available for an additional charge. Please note that any unused accommodation or services will not be refunded. Any changes to hotels after confirmation of booking will be at your own expense and payable directly to our local supplier.
ITINERARY CHANGES MADE BY US At Travri.com, we uphold the utmost standards of integrity and professionalism to ensure your tour experience is enjoyable. However, there may be occasions where adjustments to your itinerary are necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. These exigent circumstances could include events such as overbooking of hotels, requiring immediate action from our end to minimize disruption to your tour.
In such instances, if a replacement hotel is found to be cheaper, we will refund you accordingly and cover any additional transfer costs incurred. Our priority is to ensure that your tour continues with minimal disruption, and we are committed to addressing any challenges swiftly and effectively to maintain the quality of your experience.
ITINERARY CHANGES REQUESTED BY YOU
At Travri.com, our goal is to provide tailor-made, flexible itineraries that meet your specific needs and preferences. We understand that even after finalizing an itinerary, there may be circumstances where changes are necessary. Therefore, we are always open to considering requests for modifications to both group and individual itineraries.
However, please be aware that any changes to the itinerary may result in cancellation charges, and you will be responsible for any additional services provided as a result of the modifications. We strive to accommodate your requests to the best of our ability while ensuring minimal disruption to your travel plans.
CUSTOMER CARE AND COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE:
Travri.com is dedicated to providing a caring and professional service to all our clients. Prior to travel, you will receive appropriate contact details, and it is your responsibility to keep these details safe. Should you encounter any issues or dissatisfaction with our services, it is imperative that you promptly bring them to the attention of the relevant service provider (e.g., hotel) or our local representative during your tour. This allows us to address the matter immediately and find a satisfactory solution.
If the matter remains unresolved and you are still dissatisfied, you must notify Travri.com by email within 24 hours of the issue arising. This allows us the opportunity to rectify the situation to the benefit and satisfaction of all parties involved. Failure to adhere to this arbitration process may result in Travri.com refusing liability or compensation.
However, it is essential to note that any malicious or defamatory reporting of Travri.com without justification or concrete evidence may result in legal action being taken against you. Such actions could lead to claims for damages for misreporting or malicious defamation of person or property. We urge all clients to approach any grievances with honesty, fairness, and respect for all parties involved.

- Defects or failures of vessels, aircraft, vehicles, or other equipment controlled by independent suppliers.
- Loss, injury, or damage resulting directly or indirectly from Acts of God, incidents at sea, breakdowns, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, thefts, medical epidemics, or other causes beyond our control.

- We are not responsible for dissatisfaction with the standard of service or accommodations provided by any service provider, nor are we liable for any disappointment or lack of enjoyment arising from their acts or omissions.
- Travri.com is not a carrier under contract for the safe carriage of you or your belongings.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Travri.com shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, this website. This includes damages related to the information, products, and services obtained through the website, as well as the submission of personal information such as bank and credit card details. Whether based on contract, strict liability, tort (including negligence), product liability, or any other legal theory, Travri.com will not be responsible for damages even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
By making a reservation, you acknowledge that Travri.com’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the extent permitted by law. In no event shall Travri.com be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. Furthermore, the maximum extent of Travri.com’s liability, if any, shall never exceed the amount actually paid by you to Travri.com for the specific reservation.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The disclaimer, responsibility, and limited liability outlined in this agreement are fundamental aspects of the agreement between you and Travri.com. You acknowledge that Travri.com would not be able to offer its products and services without such limitations. This clause will remain in effect even after the termination of this agreement.
INSURANCE
You understand and agree that it is your responsibility to obtain a holiday insurance policy before commencing travel. Travri.com does not accept responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of your failure to secure adequate insurance coverage, which is highly recommended. Given the potential high penalties, we strongly advise you to purchase trip protection to safeguard the investment you make in your trip.
INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation provided is as outlined in each tour plan, typically in shared twin-bed rooms with an additional charge for single occupancy. Our range of accommodation options spans from luxury boutique hotels to wilderness camping. It’s important to note that some of our nature and adventure trips may involve travel to remote or undeveloped destinations. In such areas, accommodations may not meet international tourist standards, and facilities may be basic. Sleeping huts and tents are typically simple and may lack Western-style amenities such as toilets or bathing facilities. However, we ensure that tour participants are provided with the best available facilities in these locations.
Given that Sri Lanka is a tropical country, it’s common to encounter insects in rooms, especially during warmer months. By booking through us, you implicitly acknowledge and accept these conditions.
MEALS
The package price may include meals as specified in each tour program. All included meal arrangements will be simple set menu meals, buffet or packaged lunch. Meals for Ayurveda packages will be traditional Sri Lankan meals. The menu will be recommended by your Ayurveda doctor based on your body constitution. Usually meat and alcohol is not served at exclusive Ayurveda resorts.
SIGHTSEEING & LAND TOUR SERVICES.
During your tour, private transportation will typically be provided in an air-conditioned saloon car or microbus if your party consists of fewer than 7 persons. In this case, your guide will also serve as your driver. For groups of 8 persons and above, separate guide lecturers will generally be provided. This setup usually includes a guide, a driver, and a baggage assistant. Transportation within National Parks or Nature reserves will be in safari vehicles, depending on the terrain.
The following services are typically included in your tour price: transportation between airports and hotels, baggage handling, sightseeing with English-speaking chauffeur-guides as outlined in the itinerary, and all entrance fees to attractions and activities specified in the itinerary. Please note that transfers are not included if you arrive or depart from the first destination gateway by means other than scheduled flights. However, these transfers can be arranged upon request for an additional fee. It’s important to carefully review your itinerary, as not all services listed above may be included in your contracted itinerary.

The tour price does not cover the following expenses:
– Airfare to and from Sri Lanka
– Airport taxes
– Passport costs or visa fees
– Inoculation and vaccination fees
– Insurance of all kinds
– Airport transfers (unless specified in individual tour descriptions)
– Laundry services
– Alcoholic beverages
– Meals not indicated in the itinerary
– Excess baggage charges
– Tips
– Personal or baggage insurance
– Telephone or communication charges
– Optional excursions
– Any changes to the itinerary made while on tour
– Any items of a personal nature
Additionally, the tour price does not cover costs and expenses incurred if you choose to leave the tour voluntarily, due to illness, or as a result of official government action in any country visited.
CHILD POLICY
Children between the ages of 2 and 6 years are eligible for an 80 percent discount off the per person adult rate on transfers, excursions, and package tours, provided they share a room with two adults. Similarly, children aged 7 to 12 years receive a 70 percent discount off the per person adult rate under the same conditions.
Please note the following:
– The discounts apply to a maximum of two children per party.
– Children requiring their own rooms are charged at the adult rate.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
CANCELLATION BY YOU
All arrangements provided are inclusive. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent by you or your representative who made the booking on your behalf. If a group booking is canceled by the tour leader (representative), each individual will be equally liable for cancellation costs. Cancellations are timed from when we contact the supplier on your behalf. Please note that delays are common outside normal working hours.
Once you commence using the product or service, no refund in full or in part will be given for any unutilized services included in the package(s). Generally, early check-outs and no-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Our general refund policy is as follows:

Our published tours adhere to the general refund policy, ensuring that cancellation fees do not exceed the maximum specified. However, it’s important to note that our general refund policy does not apply to tailor-made tours, where services are obtained from suppliers with stricter deposit and refund policies. In such cases, cancellation refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis and communicated at the time of reservation.
As suppliers often impose rigid cancellation fees due to the unique nature of preparing overseas travel logistics and payments, it’s essential to understand that Travri.com has no control over these fees and cannot make any exceptions to them.
In the event of a ‘No Show,’ you will be held responsible for payment equivalent to the full length of stay. Generally, early checkouts or no-shows are not eligible for refunds.
CANCELLATION BY US
Travri.com is dedicated to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards to ensure your tour is a smooth and enjoyable experience. However, please understand that we may need to cancel your tour in order to mitigate risks and dangers arising from unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, as outlined in the Force Majeure clause below. In such situations, we will make every effort to provide you with a comparable booking for your consideration as an alternative.
Please note that Travri.com cannot be held liable for any incidental expenses you may incur during the arrangements for a booking that is subsequently canceled by us. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these rare instances.
FORCE MAJEURE
Due to the nature of certain featured tours, changes may occur without prior notice to the stated content or schedule of itineraries. Various risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to war, terrorism, civil disturbances, pilferage, delays, severe weather, Acts of God, Acts of Government, accidents, or failures of machinery, equipment, vehicles, industrial disputes, or local operational limitations beyond our control.
Travri.com reserves the right to cancel the whole or any part of a tour at any time due to force majeure or for reasons outside our control, including the failure of any third party to perform.
We shall not be liable for damages of any kind arising from any failure or delay in performing our obligations, or in respect of any product or service, if such failure or delay is due to circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control. Travri.com does not accept liability regarding the provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. It is understood that you will obtain adequate travel insurance to cover any travel or medical eventualities.

Smoking is strictly prohibited both in the vehicle and within Nature Reserves. However, we ensure regular comfort breaks on travel days during the tour to accommodate your needs. Your comfort and adherence to regulations are our top priorities throughout the journey.
SHOPPING
Travri.com does not endorse any shops, nor do we have any association with their operators. We do not accept any responsibility for the quality, value, reliability, or authenticity of any goods that you may purchase while on tour. Additionally, Travri.com is not liable in any way for any arrangements you may make to post, courier, freight, or ship such purchases. It is your responsibility to ensure the satisfaction and safe handling of any purchases made during your tour.
PHOTOGRAPHY, PHOTOGRAPHS & MAPS
Travri.com reserves the right to capture photographs during the operation of any program and to utilize these images for promotional purposes. If you or any member of your group prefers that your images not be used, please inform your tour guide at the beginning of the program.
Please note that photographs may depict places in geographically and historically significant areas, but they are not necessarily included in the tour itinerary. Additionally, maps displayed on the tour pages are provided for general information purposes and may not accurately reflect the actual routing of the tour.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold Travri.com harmless against all claims, demands, actions, or proceedings made or brought against Travri.com arising from your use of this website and/or any breach of any term or condition by you.
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE PARTIES
No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Travri.com as a result of this agreement or your use of this website, brochure, or any other accompanying promotional documentation.
VARIATIONS
No person, other than a Partner or an officer of Travri.com authorized in writing, may vary, add, or waive any term or condition in this document as set forth in the preceding provisions. Travri.com reserves the right to modify these terms of use.

This contract, regardless of where it is performed, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
All disputes and contradictions arising from or related to this Contract shall be resolved through negotiations between Travri.com and yourself.
In the event that it is not possible to resolve the contradictions through negotiations, you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial High Court of Western Province in Sri Lanka, or any other Court in Sri Lanka that has jurisdiction to hear and determine matters arising out of a commercial transaction in the judicial district of Colombo, without any restrictions. The decision rendered by such a court shall be final and binding on all parties involved.
