You'll arrive by flight and meet your English-speaking chauffeur guide at the airport for the drive to your Colombo hotel. After checking in and freshening up, the afternoon is yours to explore the city's main sites like Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and Galle Face Green. There's time to wander through local markets and malls if you want to pick up some things, then you'll head back to the hotel for dinner.

Starting after breakfast, you'll travel toward Mirissa with several stops along the way. First up is the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery where you'll see baby turtles being released into the water. Then you take a scenic boat ride through the Madu River with its mangrove forests and Cinnamon Island. The historic Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, comes next, followed by the popular palm rope swing that offers nice views of the area. You'll arrive in Mirissa by evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast you'll head out early for a whale and dolphin-watching excursion off the coast. If time works out, there's a stop at Coconut Tree Hill for views of the surrounding area. Next is Udawalawe National Park where you'll do a safari to look for elephants, sloth bears, and different bird species. Along the way you'll see Ravana Water Falls and get some time to take in the scenery. An optional zipline activity is available if that interests you. You'll arrive in Ella for check-in and dinner.

You'll start the day by climbing Little Adam's Peak early to catch the sunrise and see the valley spread out below. From there, you visit the Nine Arches Bridge, an old architectural structure with great views for photos. A scenic train ride takes you through the countryside and misty mountains. Then comes a visit to a tea plantation and factory where you'll learn how tea is cultivated and processed, plus you get to try a fresh cup. Ramboda Water Falls is your next stop before heading to Kandy, where you'll visit Ambuluwawa Tower for panoramic views and explore the Temple of Tooth in the evening. Check in for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast you'll travel to Dambulla to see the UNESCO World Heritage Sites there, starting with the Dambulla Cave Temple complex that contains ancient murals and five caves from the 1st century BC. Sigiriya Lion Rock fortress is next, where climbing up rewards you with views of the valley, gardens, and ancient ruins below. A village tour follows with bullock cart, catamaran, and tuk-tuk rides that include local food sampling. In the evening you'll do a safari in Minneriya National Park looking for elephants and other wildlife. You'll check in for dinner and your overnight stay in Sigiriya.

After breakfast you'll travel back toward Colombo for souvenir shopping and time to explore the city's bustling markets before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
